What is the dress code?
Comfortable sportswear is recommended. Sport shoes or flip-flops are fine. Warm clothes are recommended during winter months as the desert can get cool in the evening.
What is the child policy?
Children under 2 years old are not allowed. Children aged 2–12 have a children's rate. Ages 12 and up are considered adults. For buggies, children aged 5–15 can ride as passengers if the driver is a parent.
Can I drive the buggy myself?
Yes! Our buggies are designed for self-driving. Our expert guides will provide guidance and safety protocols before you start. For buggies, drivers must be 16 years or older. For quad bikes, drivers must be 12 years or older.
What vehicles are available?
We offer 1-seater, 2-seater, and 4-seater dune buggies (1000cc to 1200cc engines) as well as Yamaha 350cc quad bikes. Choose the vehicle that suits your group size and adventure level.
Do you offer hotel pickup and drop-off?
Yes! Pick any hotel (not residence) in Dubai and we will pick you up and drop you back there for free. If you wish to drive yourself, we will share the exact location once your booking is complete.
What are the session times?
We run two daily sessions: a morning session starting at 10:00 AM and an afternoon session starting at 4:00 PM. Both sessions depart from our Badayer desert base.
Where does the tour take place?
Our tours take place on the world-renowned Badayer "Big Red" dunes — some of the most famous desert driving locations in the world. The site is located on the E44 highway near Al Qasimia, Sharjah.
Is the experience guided?
Yes, you will follow our experienced guides in a convoy formation. They ensure you have a safe and memorable experience throughout the entire ride across the red dunes.
Can pregnant women participate?
Pregnant women are strictly not allowed to participate due to the bumpy terrain and physical nature of dune driving. We prioritize guest safety above all else.
